Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ChatComb. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI chat platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered through ChatComb.

By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our service.

Eligibility

To use ChatComb, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have a valid Google account for authentication
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws

If you are using ChatComb on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your Account

When you create an account with us through Google OAuth, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect unauthorized use or violation of these Terms.

Service Description

ChatComb provides an AI chat platform that allows you to:

• Converse with multiple AI models including GPT-4, Claude, and others
• Upload and analyze documents and images (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, PNG, JPG, etc.)
• Organize conversations into folders and favorites
• Use advanced features like deep reasoning and web search
• Stream AI responses in real-time

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use ChatComb to:

• Generate, distribute, or promote illegal content
• Create content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, or threatening
• Produce content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Generate spam, malware, or phishing content
• Attempt to bypass safety measures or content filters
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Plan

ChatComb offers a free plan with limited credits and access to standard AI models. Free plan users receive a monthly credit allocation that resets each billing period.

Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription provides:

• Higher usage limits
• Access to premium AI models
• Deep reasoning mode
• Web search integration
• File attachment capabilities
• Priority access to new models

Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Payments are processed through Freemius. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent periods
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• Your account will revert to the free plan after expiration

File Uploads

When uploading files to ChatComb:

• You may upload PDF, Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX), CSV, and image files (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF)
• Maximum file size is 1MB per file
• Maximum 3 file attachments per message
• You retain ownership of your uploaded content
• You grant us a license to process files for AI analysis
• Files are stored securely and can be deleted at any time

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any files you submit.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

ChatComb and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. By using our service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

AI-Generated Content

AI responses are generated by third-party AI models. You may use AI-generated content subject to the terms of the respective AI providers and applicable laws.

Disclaimers

ChatComb is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI responses
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of data transmission

AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions, especially in medical, legal, or financial matters.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChatComb and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the service
• Damages from AI-generated content or recommendations
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChatComb and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload or create using the service

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
